Description

It's becoming pretty clear that this teams needs a serious defensive upgrade. Marchenko is not a NHL caliber player it appears, Gardiner has made numerous glaring mistakes recently, and the lack of a high end right shot defenseman is a problem that needs to be addressed. Veteran stability on the back end has been a problem too. So all of those problems were addressed while trying to maintain as much of the integrity of the roster as possible.

This doesn't really address the "team" defense issues. By that I mean it's time to move forwards out that can't play the whole Ice....Bozak Jvr.
Moving Nylander would be a huge mistake.

Agreed. Nylander will be a 70 point player at least in a few years, trading him would be one of the worst things possible for the Leafs, and completely unreasonable.

Yes, we all know Faulk is RHD. But his play has really slipped this year. Leafs can acquire a competent Dman or pre draft of without trading Nylander.
