Simply put, this is a disaster:
1. Granlund is more of a winger, no?
2. You’re giving up the moon for a third liner.
3. PK stinks
4. He’s not a LD


Just kind of a mess.

Boston passes on all of that. I like Granlund, i wanted him the last 2 years. Think he’s a good fit here. But he’s not worth that and he’s better at wing.

Personally, Would not take Subban for free. I could see Moore, Wagner, 2rd for PK with retention but i don’t want him near the locker room. PK at 4.5 is still a bad deal. Upgrade over Clifton..sure. Not worth the trouble he brings though. The only bonus would be the expiring contract and creating cap space. If they turned around and immediately flipped him for a 3rd or 4th it would make a lot of sense to move Moore and Wagner’s 2nd year.

Guys, this doesnt matter, these trades are all rejected by the bruins.

They dont meet the needs value-wise or piece-wise

Wagner + 3rd is not worth it for NJD.
