Actually a good idea. Y'all got no need to make that many moves. The only criticism I have is Zajac's salary. I know you CAN afford to give him that, but he's realistically worth like, 1.5-2 IMO.

Ok 1 year at 4 mil. doesn’t change anything. Another add on is either they contend or he’s a great retail for another team at the dead line with 50% retained for a 3rd. I just don’t know if zajac would go to the rangers. Rangers could probably pay him the most but I think he’s looking for the cup.

Is he? Everything I’ve seen and read it’s point to Parise not Zajac. Never can tell what Lou will do until he does it.

I think Zajac is committed to Devils East, er, I mean, Islanders for next year.
Tyler Bozak is still unsigned and can also play that role for NYR.
