This is an exceptionally hard challenge. This also takes quite a bit of time and research. Good luck! If you have any questions for if someone is eligible, ask me.
In hockey, an Iron Man typically refers to a player who has played a large amount of games consecutively, or in other words, players who rarely, if ever, miss games. I will alter the meaning of the Iron Man to suit this challenge a bit better. Make the best team you possibly can by using players, who throughout their career, rarely miss a game. For goalies, you will be using how many times a goalie starts per season. For any full 82 game season played, goalies must have started in at least 30 of them to be considered an iron man. For a shortened season for whatever reason it may be, a goalie must have started in at least 15 games if the season was less than 50 games, 20 if it was more than 50 games in the season. Goalies must have at least 50 career starts for them to be eligible for this challenge. For skaters, you can only use players who have played a minimum of 225 regular season games. (Iron man streaks are based on games played in the regular season, not including playoffs as that is a different category). In other words, a skater must have played in at least 3 NHL seasons.
Other rules include:
No ELCs (obviously).
Must be cap compliant.
Every single player must have played at least 1 full 82 game season during their career to be eligible for this challenge. Goalies must have played in at least 82 games.
Can only use players who have participated in at least 10 from the most recent season, 2020-21.
Must be a full roster: 12F, 6D, 3G
To determine if they are eligible to be an Iron Man for this challenge, go to the players stats on CapFriendly, determine how many games were played in that season, and then how many games the player played/started in.
