Quoting: Ed_
U also got Kerfoot for the next year as well since he's got 2 more years next year....
Quoting: Buffalove
NOT INTERESTED...ZERO CHANCE
Here's the deal.
Presuming Eichel is traded, there is a high probability that a young center will be part of the deal coming to Buffalo.
That gives Buffalo adequate center options: Mittelstadt, Cozens, Young Center then they could choose from Girgensons, Eakin, Asplund, Ruotsalainen for the fourth line center.
Buffalo's second pick in 2021 will be nearly a first round pick.
Does any one think Tampa would give up a first round pick for Kerfoot?
I think Buffalo would rather try Asplund at center than Kerfoot as their pts/60 were 1.8 and 1.7 respectively and Rasmus's salary is quarter of Kerfoot.
While Eakin's salary is $2,250,000 for one year, Kerfoot's is $3,500,000 for two, I think I would rather keep the player with the shorter term, as neither fit into the teams future.
Let Eakin walk as he only had the value of 4th 2020-Feb-21 and his value is MUCH lower now.
