If Biffalo was willing to accept QUANTITY over Quality,
then Eichel likely would’ve already been traded

but thats not how it works. look this trade isnt worth it for either team. the rangers are losing two very good prospects and a 1st for a first line center they dont really need when they have zibs, chytil, strome, and in the future barron, plus a sea of center prospects. people really underrate zibanejad, he scored 41 goals in 57 games in 19-20, and was even better last year. probably would've been hunting for the richard if it wasnt for him getting covid before the start of the season.

either way, buffalo will definitely want a center from this trade. probably chytil, as well as either 2 more prospects and a first, or 1 prospect and two firsts. they also want a top 10 pick, and they'll know the rangers, especially with eichel, will probably make the playoffs next year. The way you set up the trade just doesn't work, even in a perfect world.

1- it wasn’t ME who “set up the trade”
2- the Rangers lack of success the past couple seasons says they do actually NEED Eichel
3- Chytil + some other pieces u don’t mind giving up isn’t even remotely close
