Every team has some sort of interest in damn near every player at some point, just got the right price. I would trade right now with the rosters as they are a fifth and fourth at most for Kerfoot and Dermott, and that's being generous. Both players would end up hampering the potential development of the younger players in our system.
Amirov is such a wild card, maybe other people know more about him but I don't think he alone gets the deal done. It could be the baseline of what a deal could look like but definitely needing at least a first, probably a second and/ or another prospect. May seem like much but that's the price.

With Detroit's needs right now no reason to offer more than that. Other teams might pay more but Detroit has no need for those players. Roster will be pretty much set once they sign their RFAs. Neither player really improves this team so why pay for them?

Ummm to the team it does. Players value fluctuates directly with teams needs. That's why the Bertuzzi ask is so high, there is no one to replace him.
