They'd better.... Ha!.... But seriously...

The Wild might need to kick in a mid-range prospect as well... Getting a couple second rounders for Cirelli and Cernak isn't a terrible deal for TB. Larsson could act as a 'serviceable' bottom six center. It solves their cap issue and gives them 2 more picks in the top 60 next year (they currently only have 1 pick in the first 4 rounds). No matter what, I think the bolts are getting fleeced on at least one or two players. They've been playing the max-cap game for too long. It had to catch up at some point.

AZ is getting a pretty decent D-man and a Center who has put up double the production of Larsson. Still, Rask is overpaid so Minny kicks in a third rounder to take the sting away.... Just not sure who Minny would need to give up on the prospect list to make something like this happen.

Wild aren't trading dumba At all . He's not available. After release of suter, and selection of soucy in expansion, dumba is going nowhere . Gm Guerin isn't trading him, and he's not interested any longer to move dumba

I disagree. If Billy can move Dumba (right handed D) for Cernak (right handed D) and net a savings of 3.00M AAV and an improvement at Center, he'd do it in a heartbeat. Makes it easier to re-sign Kaprizov and Fiala. And I would bet my paycheck that getting those two deals done is number one on Billy's priority list right now.

Tampa is currently 6M over the cap. They aren't hanging up on anybody. That is unless they can talk their 2x Stanley Cup winning captain to take a walk. Even if Stammer agrees to get traded, he will get to basically pick the team. Odds are that will be a 'contending' team. Problem is there aren't any 'contending' teams with the cap space that can take on Stamkos without sending any salary back in return....... Soooooo...... yeah...... TBL has no choice but to move the contracts without NM / NT clauses. Cirelli and Cernak fit that description.

If the bolts think they can just trade Tyler Johnson and keep the rest of their team, they are sorely mistaken.

Tampa still has about 1.1 of seabrook’s LTIR to use with two low end RFA’s to sign. If anything they’ll trade one of the two, offer the other the 1.1 and call it an off-season. They’re no where near needing to cap dump after going the LTIR route again

Plus Arizona wouldn’t have any interest in this. They’ll keep the seconds

My bad. I didn't realize Seabrook's salary was still going against the cap. I thought he was already LTIR. Looks like they might be able to barely make it work.

Well.... Scrap this idea....
