I'd imagine a Compher for Fleury straight up trade isn't very far off in value considering Chicago just got him for... hold on let me check my notes... nothing.

You're right haha. Maybe overpay, but honestly, Avs need to dump JTC anyway and salary retained on MAF would help Avs re-sign Saad or another top 6 winger

Is Compher really a cap dump? I could see Compher and a second to compensate for retention, for sure. I think the first and the third would be helping Chicago a bit too much!!

We're paying him 3.5M to play on our 4th line. He doesn't do anything helpful except for PK. Jost took his spot and jumped him. We can replace him with a prospect and free up the rest of the 2.5M salary for a top 6 spot
