Guy plays top pair for one of the top teams in the league for several years and he has no value? Give your head a shake, he's got plenty. VAN only got him last year because of the bizarre situation created by the pandemic. Should be worth a late first or 2 seconds.

He played poorly. He has a big contract with lots of term. It’s a flat cap.

He actually played pretty well all year. I watched every game. He was playing in an awful defensive system. He's a versatile player who can play on the right or left side and can be matched up against top lines. Those players have immense value. The contract isn't a problem right now and any team in win-now mode that lost out on Jones, Suter or Hamilton is going to drool over him.

Dude Schmidt sucks, he had one good season. His last season on Vegas wasn’t that great. Apparently teams are interested in him, so we’d be able to dump him without giving up assets, but I’m being optimistic thinking we can get Clifton for him.
