Your team is rebuilding

How does a team that made the playoffs playing in the toughest division last year be considered rebuilding because they trade off 2 players that didn’t helps them make the run to make the playoffs last year?

Your team was definitely not in the toughest division. If you dont think Ellis and Arvidsson were not major parts in you making the playoffs idk what to tell you

Flames should take this. Adding two impact wingers for one is a good deal.

Arvidsson was very good analytics this season just rotten puck luck

His defensive play improved and his analytics aren't bad considering his drop in production

But he was a healthy in the playoffs and his puck possession has drastically fallen off. Injuries piled up, hurt his speed which was a large part of his game.
Hopefully he can get healthy and turn things around in LAK although it seems unlikely

Arvi hasn't been good the past two seasons and is replaceable. Ellis was good, but not great, and only played 35 games. The season also turned around when he was out. Not saying that he's not a key piece, but I wouldn't consider this a full rebuild unless Forsberg and Ekholm are traded, which seems unlikely right now.
