Description
Those cheap one year deals are kind of just fill ins for whoever comes in I honestly don't know. I do think these cap dumps are realistic because people need cap space now, and that's one of the areas that's needed for Colorado Philadelphia and Vegas.

Pretty sure if SEA was interested in Voracek they would've just taken him in the ExD.

Or they wanted draft capital to take the contract.

then be stuck in cap hell. No one wants that contract and to get rid of it you spend draft picks hefty when we have a flat cap rate.

they are not stuck in cap hell. They could be tight up against the cap, and in no way are they stuck in cap hell

And if they really wanted the cap space, they could buy him out to save 4m. They dont need to desperately move EJ and his contract by attaching a 1st to it

He's on such a small sample size and the fact he only really played third pairing except for the handful of times. They could go into Arbitration with him and argue what he did wrong and he wouldn't get the deal he wanted.

please Landeskog might re-sign that makes Makar another guy you'll have to sign Grubauer Byram is up soon, Jost, MacKinnon is up in a couple years as well, Timmins. You'll have Newhook most likely soon as well. You guys have a ton of cap about to be eaten alive, you won't fit it all in a flat cap.

they are in cap hell if they are reckless over paying for Landeskog, that is the difference there. They have options, that is not cap hell

Based on their actual pick from Flyers, they are not interested in such high cap assets.
