It is not on the Rangers to sign players to team-friendly deals, that is Buffalo's job. This trade works for both sides, as long as the Sabres do not hinder Chytil and Robertson's development.

    It could very well be higher than 5, but a first round 2022 pick is worth a 60-70 point player. All I am saying is that judging by Ottawa's team, chances are they will still miss playoffs next season and finish in the bottom of the standings, allowing the Rangers to have a top 5 pick. You can't look at it literally as A TOP FIVE PICK. It is the possibility of it becoming a top five pick.

    Maybe, but the Wild are lucky if they don't declare bankruptcy soon and the Ducks aren't budging on Drysdale or Zegras.

    I'm fairly certain he is gone. No need to cope but if you think a package like this will get him you're delusional.
    Adam's holds his contract. That's the only card he needs. As much as eichel wants out it doesn't matter if there aren't any quality offers. No team in the history of anything gives away possibly the best player they have ever had.

    They won't loose him for nothing, but as a team GM, you don't want to having your star player who doesn't want here. For the best of the Sabres they need to trade him, and not a lot of teams can trade for him due to the flat cap.

    He misses a lot of games since 3 seasons, so yes it's injury problems

    2 of those season were shortened season lol. Last year has rib/neck in a season that was over. on a contender he would have played. Missed some games early one year to a high ankle sprain.
    Year 1: missed 1 game
    Year 2: missed 21 with a high ankle sprain
    Year 3: missed 14
    Year 4: missed 5
    Year 5:missed 1 game

    That's not significant.
