Do you mean to tell me that Seattle would bite at Cale Fleury and a 3rd over Carey Price? Also for fans that were so upset about Tampa's cap circumvention tactics, you guys have really found a liking for putting guys that aren't Weber on LTIR

look at the cap space xD, I'm just assuming Gallagher won't be healthy at the start of next season, which is very soon

I mean regardless of the LTIR, it would cost a lot to convince Seattle not to take Price.

yeah, maybe, but I also think Seattle has been planning their team for a while now and maybe a 33 y/o goalie making 10.5M AAV for the next 5 years wasn't in their original plans. I am also not stupid, I am aware that Price might get drafted, I'm just playing around with the lineup smile as said in the description, experimental.

Seattle would be crazy not to draft Price... Just imagine the assets they could get in trade for Price if they retain half the $$$ of Price’s contract.

Just give them Price and sign Ullmark to free up cap for a top 6 F / 1D. It is just funny how MTL managed to get rid of 2 of their "bad" contracts that a year before I thought are unmovable and would take them down for ages. Cry from Minnesota.

LOL. It is crazy how the Wild get 14-15m in dead cap space for years 22-24 meanwhile the Habs just LTIR or expose theirs.

Then there's Ken Holland that pays assets for bad overpaid players meanwhile STL and MTL just give away much better and younger overpaid players. One GM there is not like the others when it comes to managing a cap

Seattle would take Price in a heartbeat easily comes the teams #1 fan favourite before he even steps on the ice, same deal as the Flower was in Vegas

Seattle is a city that has strong ties and history surrounding Native Americans imagine them landing the biggest Native American star in the league who already has ties to the area as his wife’s is from the area, it’s a grand slam home run for them, they’d gain thousands of fans from western Canada, yes is contract is ugly but they have zero cap concerns and easily absorb that contract for 5yrs
