When you say revert, do you mean 40pts in 66 games during the shortened season or the 27 goals/ 48 points he scored in 66 games during his fist season back with Flyers when he broke a bone blocking a shot in game 1?

I get that JVR is overpaid, but is it a million? The narrative that he is not a valuable NHL winger is lazy and tired.

Sure hes a valuable player but is he worth paying 2.5 million more dollars in a flat cap world, for a position we already have a surplus in, it financially doesn't make sense for the team.
