Tbay have indicated Stamkos is in play , he is still an elite player but not quite at the same level he was a couple of years ago. Bolts need cap space and are deep down the middle so they need to give more for less return. Vegas needs a #1 center Stamkos ticks that box.  Reilly Smith fills a likely void on the 3rd line , he can play both sides. I expect one of Coleman or Goodrow to leave. Glass is still on an affordable .863 ELC. Vegas may need to add a decent pick , not sure.

This isn't enough in a deal for Stammer. Understanding that TB needs to clear cap, but a contract would have to come back to clear room in Vegas, I'm sure Smith would be fine, but I think Tuch would be more desirable. As for the prospect, it would need to be Krebs over Glass and probably a first for the pick, or multiple seconds. Stammer of course would also need to waive his NMC.

I figured someone would come back with Tuch and Krebs , fair counter. Stamkos is on the back 9 now , 2 years ago would would not have been entertaining this thought.....they need a pile of $ to re-up Point next year too. Would Smith , Krebs , 21 1st and 22 2nd get it done ? I think if Stamkos was going to waive this would be a place he would enjoy playing. Tuch need to move to the 2nd line with Karlsson and Marchessault.

I think that could def get it done. They need value for him, and I think TB would rather Krebs over Glass than Tuch over Smith. I think Vegas might be one of the few places that Stammer would waive for cause it gives him a great chance at the CUP again. Agreed that age and injuries are catching up to him. I think he'd be a better fit in Vegas than a guy like Eichel.

Then all TB would need to do is get Johnson or Gourde to waive their NMC and make a deal with Seattle to take one of those two.
