Quoting: AyyPavy
This is his exact value. Bad Back. No thanks. act like he puts up a ton of points, he puts up 50. Not worth a top prospect. This deal is more then fair.
How do you know his "exact value"? You an NHL GM, who is on the phone all day trying to make moves? You may "think" you know his value, and you can have an opinion on what his value is, and that's fine, but you don't know his "exact value". It's impossible to, unless you work for an NHL team, who talks with other NHL people.
Looking at your proposal again, perhaps I was a bit reactionary in calling your trade "terrible". There are many proposals on this site that are downright laughable, and I'll admit, yours is actually decent. Just upgrade Hallander to Amirov/Robertson/Sandin and then we'Re talking.
In the end, if this trade does actually happen, Leafs fans won't like it. Yzerman knows he does not have to trade Bertuzzi, so if a team really wants him, they will have to step up and overpay. My prediction is that Bert signs a 3/4 year deal with Detroit, and will still be on the roster to start the 21-22 season.
