Kerfoot > Johnsson. By a good bit. I didn't hear this NJ Kerfoot link unless it's just got known. Not sure excatly how NJ value Zacha. But also don't see leafs giving up too much or if at all more in a trade like this.

They can have him, Just keep him away from Detroit.

And Kerfoot makes no sense for the Devils. He was a Devils draft pick but didn't sign with them since they had so much center depth. He wouldn't want to go back there

Didn't know he was your leading scorer. One thing people forget about kerfoot is people care about acutal salary and kerfoot is pretty much paid up. Don't know if NJ is one of those teams that needs that or what it's compare to Zacha. Also went to find if this was a true rumor (atleast the kerfoot to NJ) and I couldn't find anything.

New Jersey isn't touching this, Kerfoot might end up in Seattle, but I don't think many teams would be interested in trading for him.

He could be very valuable to a team that has a extra protection slot on their FWD. People on CF think he's nothing for some reason. (To a point someone says he's not even a NHLer.) The acutal money owed is a plus.

Also really want the leafs to keep kerfoot.

Corey Masisak floated this idea on the Athletic. He doesn't seem to know the history here on how Kerfoot held out rather than play for the Devils.
