Description
Toronto doesn't have many years left with this core and management know their on a short leash this year so they bring in Bertuzzi from Detriot and resign depth from last year, they also bring up robertson and put him into the the top 6 (who is not 18 anymore which is amazing)

Note: With recent rumors about Bertuzzi, they decide to go get him since they really don't have much draft capital they have to trade Sandin and Hallander, but it isn't that much since he is an RFA

Why don't you respond to my comment about you misquoting me? Instead of threatening other users!

Seems reasonable to me. Fills a need and fits the core.

This is better, but still not it.
Sandin is a great start, but moving Bertuzzi for him is just robbing Peter to pay Paul. Wings were 20th in the league defensively and 30th offensively. Bertuzzi is more of a need than Sandin. And I haven't seen anything to suggest that Hallander is going to be significantly above Veleno or Rasmussen in terms of skill. I'd think the Wings need a better piece than Hallander, or another sweetener before considering.

So i love both sides how Sandin is an overpayment/ and Not Enough for Bertuzzi, so if you go to the one I did on Detriot I did to see their roster but anyway Hallander I got to watch since he was in Pittsburgh's prospect pool but he was our best prospect behind Poulin at the time, now he has a better skill set that Veleno now Rasmussen I'm not sure but he has a high ceiling, and with Sandin i see Toronto giving him up over Lindgrin unless Bertuzzi signs a deal with Detriot then is traded to the Leafs

It really depends on perspective. I think that Sandin has the potential (no guarantee, just possibility) to become the better, more impactful player than Bertuzzi, but Bert's a bigger need for the Wings. Considering that Toronto is the one initiating all of this, and the teams are bitter rivals, the price will just go up. Most of the people saying overpayment are not considering the context enough, and people saying underpayment are weighing the context more than the players. Personally, I'm in the latter camp.
I'll admit I haven't seen much of Hallander though. Veleno is a bit of a slow learner, but very skilled and talented once he adjusts to the league (at least, that was the case when adjusting to the AHL and SHL). He's an outside chance at a 2C, more likely a 3C at best. Rasmussen is looking to be a 3C at best. Hallander *might* be better than the two, but we can't really be certain until he starts playing some NHL games. No knocking what you've seen, just going off what I've seen so far.
