I've tried trades in the past for Reinhart and everyone cries that I don't value him enough. I figured 2 - 1sts no one can say $!#& about it. I agree its probably an over-payment though for sure.

That would buy you some breathing room.

That's how Treliving has done business. He pays the star RFA's, but for those that aren't stars, they take their QO. Kulak and Mangiapane being the most recent examples

I have no idea what this offseason will look like for the Flames.

I'm in the rebuild camp, but it won't happen. The earliest it could be happen would be next year if 21/22 goes poorly.

I think they need to make Gaudreau their best offer. If he doesn't take it, they have to trade him. Can't risk him going into the season unsigned. All it takes is a freak injury and your best asset may fetch you nothing
