  1. Kuznetsov, Evgeny
Détails additionnels:
The last 27 games of 20-21, Kuznetsov got 25 points. Unlike Eichel, he's not injured.

He and Kaprizov are Russian, and should be awesome together.

But does Minnesota have an extra 7M in cap space to add a #1 center and push Ek to 2nd line?

Détails additionnels:
$10M for 44 points this year (21+23). Offensive RHD and checking forward who can kill some penalties.
MIN
  1. Hagelin, Carl
  2. Schultz, Justin
Détails additionnels:
$6.75M for 43 points this year (27+16). Offensive RHD and checking forward who can kill some penalties.

After WSH takes on 3.25M of cap in this part of the deal, Minnesota's total cap hit only went up 3.66M to add Kuznetsov. Try getting Buffalo to agree to an Eichel deal where the salary gets within four million of balancing. Good luck. Post links. :)

Wild say no, kuznetsov is a good player but he has some off ice issues I'm sure the wild don't want to deal with

This value is approaching Eichel territory. I think the return for Kuzy will be a good prospect or 1st round pick, and some lesser pieces. He’s got a big cap hit with term and noted professionalism issues.

Schultz was 15th in points this year by an RHD. Dumba tied with Tyler Myers for 24th. $2M cap savings. Cheaper to extend. Each has one 50 point season. Dumba is 4 yrs younger and recovering slowly from a pec injury.

But mostly I'm curious how you think the Wild negotiate the expansion draft.

On anonymous surveys, 60% of American high school graduates have used illegal drugs for fun. On anonymous surveys of Canadian adults, 10% have tried cocaine. Some think people underreport, because not all users of illegal drugs trust that surveys won't be used as evidence against them. Logically these numbers are higher among people who enjoy taking risks, are fearless, and have lots of extra money. So each NHL team has at least two or three players who have tried cocaine, but some teams probably have many more. How many teams have an active player who has led the NHL in playoff points?

No. You can't get Eichel for twice this. Also, Kuznetsov has three 70 point seasons and one 30 point playoff. Eichel has one 70 point season and made it to the playoffs one time in juniors. But if you read my post, Minnesota fans (Caerii included) keep saying Minne doesn't have the cap space to take on Kuznetsov or Eichel, and Buffalo fans are pretty consistent in saying they want no cap hits back for Eichel, just futures. So Eichel to Minnesota might not work under a flat cap. I'm looking for a way to make Kuznetsov to Minnesota work for the Wild fans who keep asking.

1)Wild aren't going to trade top prospect like boldy for Kuznetsov

Wild don't want, or need Justin Schulz, or Carl hamelin. Dumba is way, way better. Wild easily reject this.

There is zero chance dumba is getting moved for any d, much less lesser one. Dumba will only get moved for top 6c prospect with 1st round pick, not d

    Points aren't everything. So mo

Kuznetsov isn't going to wild either. Wild gm has zero interest

Wild fans don't keep asking. 2 or 3 isn't wild fans

You know what is funny, Kuznetsov missed 2 months or more this year because of his own faults .

He was suspended 1 game with ovi for not following covid protocols. For covid, & missed 1 month. Obviously that wasn't enough. Got covid again, & missed a playoff game being on covid protocols because of his inability to follow rules @ work

It's very certain you are over valuing Kuznetsov. Guerin doesn't want players like Kuznetsov. Same reasons he has no interest in Sean Monahan

Can we all agree it doesn't matter what fans of any team think including wild fans? Buffalo GM isn't dumb. He knows teams will have to dump cap for eichel

So you're saying the Buffalo GM is so smart you almost remember his name? LMGTFY: Kevyn Adams.

Yeah. He hasn't made a lot of headlines yet. Latest news is that he says he's keeping Eichel and trying to improve the team around him. So good luck dumping cap on him in the Eichel trade he isn't considering.

edited: He's not getting traded. I hope for Buffalo's sake he can get fully healthy for next season. I think the scenario with Adams trying to control Eichel's medical choices is really messed up. The rest of us sometimes joke that our boss is a pain in the neck, but for Eichel... well.
