Ladd doesn't waive his NTC . Even Komarov and his M NTC may not go to a poor team in his last NHL season.

2. Most of those deals look spot on, but ekholms gonna get a lot more than that. Hes a complete number 2-3 defenseman on a great contract and even though its only 1 year, someones gonna think they can resign him and pay as if he was extended already. If you qant him its gonna cost a bunch of good pieces. I do agree though that mccabe would be a good target to play LD2 or alec martinez. In terms of LD3 i think between aho, bolduc, and salo someone from our system is gonna get that job.

Josh Bailey will play the rest of his career for the Islanders; I'm not sure why everyone is so quick to trade him or, in this case, let him go to Seattle.

Arizona will never accept that deal and the Isles will keep Clutterbuck, especially if they can keep Cizikas.

Ladd is virtually untradeable. He's going to be buried for another 2 years but it is fun to come up with workable scenarios to deal him. This one ain't it though.
