We can’t really just stay in a state of contending and rebuilding like we have since 2013.

Jackets are NOT in a full on rebuild.
That being said, the only player in this deal for 3 strong players is Patrick. Otherwise a bunch of futures does not help the Jackets now.
Their goal is to retool quickly, so this probably would not be anywhere near the top of offers made for Jones, Laine & Korpi.

i mean no one wants to stay there they are absolutely rebuilding in fact there is something to this deal that horrible for the flyers side it is so terrible for the flyers and the fact you didnt like it is somethign else, columbus doesnt tocuh the playoffs for 3 years easily
