Too much for Nate Schmidt. Was traded for a year ago for a 3rd pick. He had an awful Year. Big contract. Think he would do well in Boston.

Not a fan of Schmidt, don’t see him as a fit. Soft game, left shot that plays better on his off side where they don’t need the help, bad contract.

Seattle should have an excess of D men after the draft and not much offense setting up a potential Debrusk trade.

Bruins reject that Vancouver trade.

As a side note. You are willing to give up that much for Garland who is averaging 23.5 goals per 82 GP
Debrusk after his 5 goal campaign is averaging 22.5 per 82 gp

They are the same age. Garland is 6 months older and Debrusk has 100 more NHL games. I like Garland, but one crappy season like Debrusk had and the Bruins replaced a like for like player and lost two good prospects and a 1st rounder.
