I think that domi is a good bet, worst case scenario you don’t sign him and his money go to chucky, best case scenario you ext him for a 2-3 year deal, having him give us more calm at the Center line, that way if bergy or krecji need a break they can get it because we can moove domi at Center
Paquette bring toughness at the 4th line, him and Fredy will play hard and lazar will play smart, they can all play Center but I think lazar will be the Center to start and they will play Paquette off wing, as much as I love Wagner, he’s been terrible last year, yes he’s commit to the team but the Hans beurkkk, Paquette, Fredy and lazar have a good balance of speed, agression, team work and scoring ability for a 4th line,
Oleksiak is a must, a big heavy d, agains the isl we lost because of so many turn over, yes olek won’t do incredible pass but he will play a smart low risk game
For the d pairing i think those are the optimal, but I would be surprise to see olek with Mcavoy if they match well, they will give them the most 5v5, then you would have Grz with Carlo and Martinez with clifton the reason I want Grz with Carlo over Martinez is because clifton and Grz together will be bad when the other team will bring puck down low, they are small and will be outplayed by big forwards
For the goalie, we need a real good back up, I know some of you said Reimer but I don’t think it is, maybe mrazek if he want a 1y under 3 but the goal is to get the best goalie for 1 year under 3M
Stankoven I like this kid, we need small feisty player with skillz, we are missing speed and the game is only getting faster, hall is fast but only on straight line we need a fast guy on straight and lateral,
Samoskevich is a pure offensive talent, I think if we let him the time to develop he would be great for this team, is skating is good but the Hands and the shot and the offensive creativity on this dude is wow

I don’t hate him, but we need Better lhd option, a big d man first and Reilly could get sign if Martinez is way too expensive but we need better, and I would not pay more than 2.5 for Reilly
Feel like you've underpaid On Carlo, Oleksiak and Hall here. Doubt columbus makes that move neither Debrusk or Ritchie help them rebuild and they wouldn't be giving up the extra 1st.
That's not a good move for Columbus, they're better off with those 1sts then dealing them for bottom six wingers, they could probably get at least a 2nd for Domi.

My question is would the Bs rather hold on to JD at his $ and hope he turns it around than take a flier on Domi at his $ and hope that he turns it around? If the $ was equal I could go either way, but I would prefer to either keep JD and use that extra cash somewhere else on the roster or use DeBrusk as part of a package for a LD (maybe Keith?)
