I'd rather have him than Reaves, but I'm not sure where I'd put Sanford in the lineup if the Rangers add Jordan Martinook. But I'd agree that he and Dunn for 15 is a fair trade.

I say put it on here. I think it it works for both. Sanford can be a 3rd or 4th line grinder but can play a 2nd line role like he did with Perron and ROR.

I mean you can pair him with Trouba on the 2nd pair at times so we don't overplay miller who is going into his 2nd season. I'm not gunna get hung up on who he is paired with. He checks all the boxes are far as what I think the Rangers need, and if i am Drury I am checking in with the Preds about his availability immediately.

No i understand that hes a really good player, my point is its gonna cost a lot of assets to bring him over and its only going to be worth it if you extend him and thats gonna cost a lot of cap plus a top 4 role. Its not going to be worth it to bring him in to play 1 year bc someones gonna pay to try and extend him.

I see your point, correct me if im wrong but are the preds going to protect him? If they can't then we might get for a reduced price. Maybe a 1st and a defensive prospect might do it. Id make that deal all day.
