It'd definitely be a tough team to face and addresses a couple of the biggest needs on the team. I'd love to see a big gun like Landeskog on the left wing, but realistically I doubt he leaves Colorado and signing him to a big contract like that would make it pretty hard to sign Suzuki and Caulfield as their contracts come up. Cheaper options like Schwartz or Janmark seem more likely or possibly trading for someone a team is going to lose to Seattle like Duclair.
I like Manson on D, but I think resigning him is just going to be too expensive as long as Weber and Petry are around. What about going for someone like Fabbro; he's young enough to be cheap and Nashville will likely lose him in the expansion draft if they don't move him. Fabbro doesn't have the size that the Habs like on their blueline, but does have the puck-moving skills they need for the powerplay.
