ex-tsn Seravalli now works for Daily Faceoff and has Evander Kane ranked 5th for this summer trade target saying : " Scoop: Doug Wilson is navigating choppy waters in the Bay Area. To preface things I wouldn’t read too much into Seravelli’s “findings”. He is credible, but one sentence of vague criticism isn’t enough to make me believe they want him gone super bad. Never heard a negative thing from him or about him from his teammates but I’m not on the team so idk.

In terms of value, the Sharks would ask for a 1st +. If not, a lesser pick and a good prospect. It’s as simple as that.

But are you sure the Rangers need him? Looks like they’re absolutely set on the wings.

Evander Kane is kinda weird to value. His contract kills his value with his NTC and term but he is still a top 6 forward that every team should want in the way the nhl is transforming.
He is probably worth more to the sharks than other teams would be willing to pay so unless this report is 100% accurate making SJ desperate to get rid of him, I doubt any team would want to give up the assets to get him.
