If Patrick has no value then why would Buffalo want him?
And Domi is certainly a bust right now and I cannot expect a team to pay 2C price for him.
If Philly has to re sign both players then they shouldn't have to pay full trade to get them and this trade would also send a clear message to Carter Hart which might basically restart their rebuild, negating the need for Jones.
With Reinhart it would be a pretty different trade. I'll put one up tomorrow if I remember and you can have a look.
You make good points, thanks for your input! I'll keep an eye out for the trade proposal you put up. I didn't mean to say that Patrick has no value, just that he's lost some value over the years, like a high-end project of sorts. I must be undervaluing him though.
Even if my above trade wouldn't work, I think a 3-way trade involving Jones going to Philly and Eichel going to CBJ is a strong possibility, especially if a Jones extension is highly likely. Buffalo, CBJ, and Philly all have the pieces to make a mutually beneficial trade work, it would be a super complex deal to work out though for sure.

Damnnn ,Buffalo gettttingg paaaaaaaaid....
...toooo much.
You're probably right, I've been trying to err on the side of an overpay for Eichel in my trade proposals. I think the most likely/realistic deal for Eichel will result in the fanbases being at least somewhat unhappy, but still being good for all teams involved. One of my big pet peeves with trade proposals is that people can't remove their homer goggles and create ridiculous and unrealistic trades. I don't always succeed, but I try my best to create mutually beneficial trades, I'm pretty confident that most GM's approach deals with that mindset.
