I have to think Pens say yes.

Massive overpay from Vegas... Massive. I'd imagine they say no.

Smith for Morgan? Ok, I could see it.

A 1st for Morgan? Ok, makes sense.

Smith, Glass (top prospect) and 1st for one year of Rielly? Lunacy. Even if Morgan extended it's too much.

Extension talk is 95% of the time rather silly....and this in another one. Glass hasn't proven he's a 3C, and certainly Crouse who seems be living off his #10 draft selection and comments from Don Cherry has done nothing to show he's a top 6 forward.

There's no way the Leafs are signing or trading for any goalie that can't take over the reigns. Campbell is unproven over 82 games, can't have a 1B if he gets hurt. They'll trade or sign someone who can play 40 games.

Why would Vegas do that? They just handed out a huge contract for pietrangelo and have Theodore as well

Interesting when liljegren, sandin and Robertson are traded, no one talks about what they haven't proven

Because everyone wants Morgan Rielly! It doesn't matter if you need him or even have room for him; Leafs are trading him to you regardless lol

As any knowledgable hockey fan would know, Glass is older than the other three Leafs. Gee Robertson is still junior aged. As a Leaf I would do that deal, but if the Leafs are in win mode, I would want an known 3C instead of depending on Glass in 21/22. Certainly knowledge Leaf fans aren't depending on Robertson to be a Leafs in 21/22.

Well played...

Also, 100% overpay for Vegas. Don't get me wrong-Rielly is really good, but when Glass isn't on the table in a potential Erik Karlsson trade, and also wasn't on the table in a Mark Stone trade, I find it incredibly foolish to assume he'd be there for Rielly. I must have missed the part where Glass suddenly became bad? All of the underlying numbers point to a young player who's poised to break out.

True, but what's your point. Glass, Liljegren and Sandin are certainly eligible to be considered in any NHL trade. I liked the trade that was suggested as Leaf fan, though I'm not sure the Leafs should depend on Glass being a 3C in 21/22. Just like I'm not sure that Leafs should be depending on Sandin and Liljegren to be playing 16 minutes a night each in 21/22
