Guentzel, Poulin for Tkuchuk. As a pens fan I’d be good with that!!

Marino or Guentzel would have to be the main piece. Along with Poulin. Marino, Poulin and a 1st round pick would solid value for Tkachuk.


Poulin, 6’3, 215 pound power forward. Should play a similar role to Tkuchuk.

Of course he’s not Tkachuk.

But he’s big, physical, scorer. Again, not Tkachuks talent but should be similar. 20 plus goals. 40-60 point seasons. Not Tkachuks 60-80 points seasons though. But a similar type of player, physicality wise, power forward, goal scorer.

And Poulin is still all potential of course. Tkachuk is proven and done it in the NHL.

The only reason I wouldn’t give up Guentzel is cause Sid would be pissed. And he might reconsider his thoughts on staying in Pgh until he retires if they trade away Guentzel. Even if they got a Tkuchuk brother back.

If u can get a dynamic, game changing player like a Tkuchuk brother, both big, great two-way players, net front presences too, both hit a ton, super physical, and very good scorers and playmakers too. One is 23 and one is 21 years old. U give up Guentzel 100%. Or Marino. And both for the younger, better one, Brady.

Yes, Ottawa or Calgary would most likely have to take a contract back too in the deal. But u 100% give up Guentzel or Marino for a Tkuchuk bother. They are game changers, cornerstones of franchise players.

You understand that if a big name isn't involved in a potential Tkachuk deal then he stays put. Idc if they're good players there isn't a single recognizable name in that deal so why would we give up our best player for that. On top of that there's a 2nd instead of a 1st, and were retaining?? Ahahahaha no shot.
