I think you are forgetting something. Airzona is rebuilding while having spending a lot. Never a good combo. Miettienen is an elite prospect. He has one of the best releases I’ve seen. There’s no doubt he’ll be at minimum a 30 goal 50 point guy in this league at minimum. Lots of scouts project him to be Alex Debrincat.

Also I’ll tell you this as someone who watches prospects. Miettienen has a higher ceiling than Jack Quinn but a lower floor than Quinn. Y’all really messed up drafting Quinn over Rossi, Lundell, Jarvis, Perfetti, Amirov and more.

Those are s-tier prospects. Those are expected franchise defining players. A-tier are expected 1st liners. It’s clear you don’t understand how to evaluate prospects.

Personally I don’t think the Leafs are in a position include him in any trades, nor do I want them to, for the lack of depth on the RW. He does shoot left so it’s possible that one of Abramov or Abruzzese move to the wing. And yes, his shot is amazing. He also back checks like crazy which I love. Reminds me of a lite Viktor Arvidsson.
