Paying Pionk only that much will be nice but he is making 6M+

Jets aint getting Dougie but otherwise, it's a nice-looking team. Also, why not bring back Laurent I think you could because Dougie ain't getting more than 7 mill for sure.

I do really like the roster.

This top 18 checks pretty much all the ChevyPaMo boxes. Versatile bottom 6, no more than 1 ‘young’ D.

The only real issue I see is the Pionk contract. I think he’ll land close to $6M, if not over $6.1-$6.4. It’s a flat cap and he’s only a RFA, but he’ll get paid, and if the Jets want term, the first number will need to be a 5 or 6.

Not to bad, but as others have said Pionk gets more. There's also no reason to move Stanley for a plug like Ritchie or giving up a 3rd for a bottom pairing defenseman.
