STL gets fleeced here. They give up a future #1 D and a first line winger for a potential first line winger, a #5/6D, a B prospect and a 1st rounder. I do this every day of the week and twice on sundays if i'm the Leafs.

What is the concept of free agency foreign to so many people? Shattenkirk has earned to the right to being a UFA and unlikely has gone this far to sign a contract. And why? and why? Do the Leafs have to give up assets to sign a upcoming UFA. Ridiculous proposal (which is we see hourly on this site.)

I think he means is STL resigns Shattenkirk. Or why would they even consider trading Parayko?

So Fabbri is a 1st line winger but Nylander is only a potential first line winger? Am I readings this right?
Not going to comment on the overall value of the trade but I really hope you made a typo.
