I don’t think they would be interested in moving Zegras or Drysdale, but if they can get a guy like Comtois mixed with another guy like Steel then I think it would work out for them.

I don’t think Buffalo would be looking at a guy like Laine, but he could be the main piece in the deal. If Buffalo tried something along the lines of
Bjorkstrand
Chinakhov
TFW/Texier
2022 1st

Then I think they should take it.

I also think Buffalo would be looking towards picks for the 2022 draft considering it’s the deeper one out of this year and next year.

I was hesitant to include Kakko on this list considering Gallant’s love for analytics (Kakko is going to be Landeskog 2.0 imo), but that’s what it would cost for Eichel. Maybe Kakko, Lundkvist, and a 1st or a combination of other prospects.

No chance Vegas goes after Eichel, but we thought the same about Pacioretty and Pietrangelo. 99% change Vegas doesn’t move Theodore but I threw him in there anyways.

Actually Karlsson didn't resign until after the season was over and SJS grossly overpaid to retain his services. So the contract length debate is definitely not thrown out the door.

If Eichel was getting paid 13 million/season (what he'd likely get as a UFA on the open market) then you could take the length out of the equation but he isn't.

Eichel should get at least double if not triple what the Sens got for Karlsson.

I'm not even a Sabres fan. I'm a Sens fan...

Eichel won't nor should he get even close to "triple what Karlsson got". They both have the same type of impact on their teams before the trade, both have injury history, and we're both upset with management/the team before the trade. You're looking at a Karlsson type deal for Eichel. Guarantee it.

Just bc that ONE article only names a handful of teams,
it doesn’t mean that more aren’t involved
And the writer was just making assumptions based off the reports fro other ppl who are actually somewhat connected
None of that is based of what HE is hearing from team sources

        You said “by all accounts”
That implies much more than JUST ONE
Don’t bother me anymore with your nonsense

        You’ve now been reported

Wow. Might it be my place here but @Jdfitz77 asks for a link as to where @RazWild read the reports about teams being interested, to which was provided... only then criticizes the article and blames him for his "nonsense" for something he read. Oh and that article mentioned multiple highly credible people in the reporting world, that likely have more insight than either of you. Then you both call each other immature and one decides to report the other for basically doing exactly as asked... wow. Seems like @Jdfitz77 is the immature one here. Grow up there kid.

This is an opinion site. You both can't always be right but when you ask for a link and it's provided, don't be shady just because you were wrong. This is what this site has come to, a lot I find. Grow up. Be better and learn something from it instead of commenting like a whiny little kid throwing a temper tantrum that goes crying to the school principal cause he didn't like something.

        HE said “by all accounts”
        that means MULTIPLE sources
        He provided ONE SOURCE
And it was MEDIOCRE AT BEST, since the article he did post was a random guys OPINION about other reports from actual experts
Might has well have been written by one of us

        So i was not wrong
He’s clearly here to just troll Sabres fans & I’m not gonna waste my time with that kind of “nonsense”
If he had anything legitimate to back up his opinion, then I’d have had a convo with him
        But clearly he did not

        And btw…..
Elliott’s Friedman just TODAY said that many believe the Kings aren’t being sincere about being “out on Eichel” and Lebrun stil has LA in the top5 likeliest destinations for Eichel

But sure… take the no name guys opinion that Razwild uses as his ONLY source of “all accounts”
Even though it’s clearly not ALL accounts
        It’s ONE mediocre account

Lmao. The arrogance in this comment is unreal 😂

Teams are gonna be in and out everyday as the price for Eichel changes. That's why Friedman and such report things different days.

But you acting so arrogant and thinking you know everything is hilarious. Seriously, are you 12? Like grow up.
