The resigning piece is not the biggest focus. They also get back the 1.2 on Kessel's retention so that will help with some of the signings. Sandin will sign a bridge deal similar to what Dermott has been doing because he's going to play very similar minutes to what Dermott has been doing. Anything over 1.5 per for 2 years would be odd. Mikheyev I imagine is not going to get resigned or if he does it will be pretty similar, maybe a small raise, especially with his lack of offensive production. If Campbell plays a full season and plays well again, he may command into the 4-6 million range, but he doesn't exactly have a track record. Another good year should probably net him a 2 year 3-4 per prove it contract. That's 8 million total, not outrageous at all if you want to keep Mikheyev. You'll only need to add 4 million to do that over and above their expiring contracts, with the loss of the retention it's only 2.8. Not hard to find (especially if Rielly is not resigned).
Giving away one of your best players to the Kraken for cap space is foolish.
