Lol I've seen this guy on multiple posts that have Coleman on a Canadian team saying this. Listen if it's true, it's fine, that's his choice as a UFA. But this guy just goes from post to post saying how Coleman does not want to play in Canada. Funny enough, I think he is getting more definitive with this point- on one comment he just outright says it. And of course this is accompanied with no reporting, no quotes. Guess buddy just knows Coleman very well.

That's wild. I would just make other small moves. Better yet, I personally would not sign someone like Hoffman to that deal. The problem with Edmonton is not just that they are weak at the wings, they give up a decent amount upfront as well. You are already losing a good 2wayish guy in RNH, and after McDavid having a year where he was not entirely dreadful defensively, maybe don't change his winger that had a good two-way game (for a year at least) and is not making much. I don't know how much you have seen Hoffman play- he can snipe and score some goals, but he kind of just gives it all back. Like that top4 though. Feel like the Avs deal is fair because of expansion, but I'm sure I will have some Avs fan tell me I'm an idiot.
