I have to agree with the above, Girard has just signed that extension and he's not going anywhere, let alone to a divisional rival.

Also what would the condition be on Nylander? I feel if we were to move him it would return a much better pick than a 5th.

Try a high end prospect and a 1st as the starting pt for 23 yr old top pairing dman signed to a long term team friendly contract. But Sakic isn’t losing his mind so Girard isn’t getting traded.

I agree in principle but Beaudin is not a prospect the Hawks don't want to be clear. He's going to be a very solid 2nd liner for the Hawks for years to come which is great given he was a late 1st round pick. I get it though, it doesn't get Girard but just clearing that up for you.
