The contracts all look fair.

Girgensons has more value than a fifth, and Eakin can be buried in Rochester.
Eakin does not need to be moved for nothing when the team had $26,000,000 cap space.

Sure Miller to the Krakens.

DiPietro or Pilut have at least the value of a fifth and if you do not like Lekkas, and Nyberg just do not offer them contracts.

The difference between Sam and Yamamoto, is more than a first not just 2021 4th round pick (EDM) plus 2021 7th round pick (EDM)
Yamamoto is more of a prospect than NHL certainty at this point with only one stretch of 27 games in which he looked really good
This past year, not so much.

I know most people only look at Ristolainen's +/- and not the minutes he plays not the competition he is lined up against, nor that he PK's, hits, PP and scores pts.
He is worth at least a first but considering the GM is Kevyn Adams, you are correct the first is TOO much to expect in return.
Basing on how Hall only returned a second, Kevyn would only ask for a third.

Well what ever for Jack, sure.
Buffalo will not receive his true value.

OK, I RETRACT EVERYTHING I SAID. KEVYN ADAMS IS THE GM, ALL OF THE OTHER GM'S IN THE LEAGUE KNOW HE IS OVER HIS HEAD AND WILL FLEECE HIM.
HE WILL BE LUCKY TO THAT MUCH FOR ANY OF THOSE TRADES.

That’s an overly defeatist view on Adams
I don’t think any GM would’ve done better in the Hall trade
We had no leverage, and Hall said he’d only go to Boston
Frankly, we’re lucky we got the 2nd

Let’s see what Adams does here
I’m gonna remain positive for now, bc there just isn’t any point to being negative
IF he does end up getting fleeced for Eichel & Reinhart,
then I’ll be upset
Till then I’ll try to remain optimistic

Go Sabres!

It is the body of work thus far.
Hall at $8.000,000 when Hoffman signed for half of that with the Blues.
Letting Larsson walk and thinking Eakin was better.
I would rather have Lazar than Bjork, Lazar was the go to guy to win face offs.
Davidson and Irwin when other defensemen signed for the same amount who were MUCH better.

Can’t disagree more with the above assessment

Hoffman signed for less with the Blues bc he wanted a chance to win with a good team
Every single season players sign with good teams for less,
while other players chase the $$$ & sign with poor teams

Other defensemen who were better also had BETTER OPTIONS than to sign with a crappy Sabres team

You’re acting like all things are equal- and they’re just not
Players aren’t gonna wanna come here to a crap team
Until proven otherwise, that’s what we are
And no matter who the GM is, he can’t force guys to come here

Also…. All these moves you’re attributing to Adams,
when it’s well know that Ralph played a MAJOR ROLE in shaping the roster last year
You seem to be forgetting that
