I agree 100 percent, but I feel as if many teams will be in on Killorn, and the Oilers should make their deal stick out compared to all the others

the problem with the "Cap Issues" theory there's 7-10 teams interested in his services creating a bidding war negating "cap issues problem

If you sign Danault, I'd move Draisaitl to his wing. Danault is elite defensively and has strong play-driving numbers so I think he'd be an excellent complement to Draisaitl

teams wont bid to create a position of strength for tampa, when they can wait till last minute & poach. killorns value is not that of an unobtainable piece, teams will simply bow out.

So if you're a Carolina and think a Killorn in the playoffs may be the guy who puts you over your going to risk not getting him to not help Tampa Bay 🙄

Teams like CAR might not be looking to help you as much as you seem to think. They just need some fine tweaking/TB having a Kuch over the cap made a massive difference in the playoffs against both FLA and CAR. I have TB winning again and so do many others but teams may not be looking out for the Dynasty that TB could potentially be if teams are overpaying for your good players that are considered depth rather than superstars. Killer is awesome and anyone would love to have him but at the price of being better and helping a dynasty? Probably not. So I don’t think this evaluation is too far off if at all. But ya, if for some reason 1/3 of the league wants to make you guys a dynasty then they will out bid each other until you end up with a crazy package for him
