Weber wants to retire. In order to avoid the cap penalty, NAS trade for Weber in order to place him on lTIR and actually adding 7,8 millions in cap space. Big win for NAS imo.

Oilers not touching that Deal. Oilers need a first line scoring winger. Drouin is paid like one but his production is far from one. Holloway has only improved since getting drafted and to use him in a deal where you are dumping 2 contracts is so short-sighted its not even funny. Im all for the Oilers going all in, but thats at the costs of picks and actual futures. Holloway will be with the team within the next 2 seasons. Holloway on his ELC would be a huge piece for the Oilers, not trading him. Just makes no sense

Sharks would 1000% rather use that pick themselves. Our prospect pool lacks quality, not quantity.

Armia ? Protect Lehkonen over Armia and Evans

Yup, I know sometime he's invisible, but some game, he looks like a top 5 RW in this league. Keep him. Lehky is great but Id rather expose him OR preferably trade him for a 2nd + to a team that can protect him.

31OA pick for Montreal? That's getting a little ahead of yourself isn't it?

With Evans injury, I would protect Lehky
Even without one, Lehkonen is better overall, Evans is Center and can take faceoffs. That’s it. We like how they play, but I don’t think Evans will ever be a ~15 goals scorer. Lehkonen is, even if he misses 30 open net every year

I just wanted to do the EDM with MTL having the worst pick possible so the value would still be good even with the 28th OA instead of 31st.
