I def don't think Flyers have to sweeten pot for SEA. They can expose JVR, Jake, Ghost, Hagg and NAK. I think we would be fine with any one of them leaving. Don't need to add anything in order to protect any of those players.

To get the cap space for Marner, they need to guarantee JVR (or Voracek) gets selected. He could be their choice regardless -- but at the same time, with a flat cap for the near future, SEA could choose to be pretty brutal to teams looking to find some cap space.

You're asking us to take on Ghost for two years for only a 4th? That's not realistic. Make it two 2nds (or at least a 2nd and a 3rd) and it might happen.

If you think that's too much then Detroit signs a free agent or two for half the money, there are lots of them this year.
