Nuge is a terrible center man. He is more of a winger. He can’t drive his own line, is not the best at face offs etc. If someone signs him and hopes he will be a 1, or 2c, they will be disappointed.

Question because I heard a fan talking about this but I can't find the facts on this. Can we trade Parise with the other team buying out his contract? Giving him the freedom to sign where ever and the cap not hitting us because they bought out his contract? If this is possible I see a Buffalo or another team a few years away giving them the flexibility to play young talent not on a high end contract. I know we would have to pay a premium for this but would we avoid his recapture penalties? He would waive then, 10000% because he can go anywhere and win his cup on a league min contract
