Boston is in win now mode, so to move DeBrusk they'd need to be filling a hole that keep their cup window open. If Hall doesn't return then we'd have a need for a 2LW, but then trading DeBrusk just means we'd need another LW. We could use a legit LHD to play 1st/2nd pairing, but I can't see EDM offering up someone like Nurse. Maybe a need for another RW, but then we're just swapping LW for RW. IDK that EDM/BOS are good partners for a DeBrusk deal TBH.

First, Jones will strengthen your left side defense, which is good for you. Secondly, you need a place under the cap to sign the Hall, and everything suggests that Hall will sign with you.
And thirdly, is it possible that the second round of the draft and a ready-made defender in the top 4 is not enough for you behind the left edge, who plays in your third line ????

I dare disagree with you Debrask is still not rubbish, this is a slightly contradictory statement. Debrask is a very decent striker.

Edmonton is now in such a position that we can afford to exchange a decent def without damaging our own squad. See Nurse is top1, Clefbom is top2 (I'm sure Clefbom will recover and play the whole next season), and Jones is not the best candidate for the third pair, Lagesson is a stronger couch potato and I think Lagesson has high potential. And Debrask is our home-grown and very decent double-sided left wing, that suits us.

Sorry, of course, but all the same Nurse for Debraska will be too bold, after all Nurse is a real contender for the Norris Trophy.

It’s debrusk, and hockey doesn’t have strikers.

I also didn’t say debrusk was bad, i said the offer for him was bad.

Sorry, translation difficulties. English is not my native language. I think the offer for Debraska is more than worthy.

The bruins are a contending team. Jones doesn’t help them at all, and a 2nd round pick isn’t enough to get them to offload a player. It isn’t more than worthy. It isn’t close to worthy. It’s miles away from worthy.

First - Our left side is pretty deep. Even without Reilly returning they have Grz, Lauzon, Zboril & Vaak. Jones isn't a a massive upgrade over anything we already have

Second - Boston has roughly $28 million in cap space. Getting Hall signed shouldn't be an issue

Third - I'm not sure what this question is asking

Never said it was Nurse for DeBrusk though, there certainly wouldn't add to balance a deal out. Funny to see Nurse go from a guy it seemed everyone EDM fan wanted traded during the off-season, to now he's a contender for the Norris Trophy. I spent more time during the off-season defending Nurse to EDM fans than I did any Boston player to any fan base lol.

Then we will try to sign Dzingela from the market, because other free agents are supposedly re-signing with their current teams. Otherwise, we will grow at the expense of internal reserves, good prospects are on the way (Benson, Holloway, Maraudi, Lavoie).
