Leafs don't want a guy that can't stay out of the principal's office. They have their own Tom Wilson that's better and doesn't get suspended like he does: Zach Hyman.

I can't imagine an organization like Toronto having any interest at all in Wilson after what they saw happened to Kadri with them.

The Kadri trade was a pretty bad one.

Not when Toronto got 2 very useful players that can stay in the lineup for playoff games. Looks pretty solid to me.

Tyson Barrie isn’t in our lineup and Kerfoot isn’t a better player than Kadri. How is that a good trade? Because Kadri plays tough and we don’t like that l?

But Barrie did play in the lineup. & didn't get suspended either. & right now I'd argue Kerfoot is better than Kadri. Kerfoot is making an impact every night in the playoffs, where Kadri got suspended... again.

Leafs are fine with physical play. Hence why they brought in the guys in the off-season.. it what they don't like is guys that have a history of getting suspended. Especially when it matters most.

I think most teams would be quite interested in acquiring Wilson. It would take a first/A prospect or a top 4 Dman as a base. Caps really don't need a Dman immediately, since we have two near NHL ready defenseman waiting.

If we're trading Wilson, it's probably due to some sort of rebuild anyway. So picks/prospects is what we'd want.
