I would do Fleury or Price but this is in 3 years and they are getting old, but Hart is 22 and will be 25 (prime) during this time with plenty of experience

3 years? I thought it was for 2022. Then, Kane, Zibanejad, Carlson and Ovechkin won't be on the top line in three years. Malkin by default since RUS doesn't have a top C.

Then, yes, Hart would need to have an incredible season from October to February to be considered. Fleury was one of the best goalie this season, Kuemper one of the best over the past three years, Binnington and Blackwood have a case and Price is getting a free pass because of his reputation. Hart was the worst goalie in the league this season, I don't see him getting selected.

As an overall player? Hard disagree. Slavin plays more minutes, has better numbers in every single possession stat, and draws more penalties than he takes (+5 to Carlson's -6). Carlson puts up more points but he's also played 450 powerplay minutes these past two years compared to Slavin's 70 minutes. If I had to put a defenseman out against McDavid in the Olympics, I'd go Slavin over Carlson every single time.
