10M a year for Hamilton is a gross overpayment. He's not even that good at defense. He's like the 3rd best defender on his team when it comes to defense

They don’t need him for defense. Need him to be an offensive partner for Morrissey, and a guy who can QB their pp1.

While yes it would help if he was solid defensively, Morrissey is a pretty stabilizing partner. Also I was using the dougie example as what they’d do over signing Martinez

I cannot see WPG not protecting Stanley. Rather see Demelo plus for Seattle.
Would like to see Copp traded for a RHD that would not need to be protected as then we could protect Appleton.
