In my keeper league, I have Lindholm. I would love Toews. I have a surplus of Centres and am wondering if this is a fair value. I don't want to part with Lindholm, but he's what the other guy wants.

Lindholm is signed at 7M for 3 more seasons. Toews is RFA

Flames shouldn't do this. They have enough LD. And Lindholm is our best contract

I just need to know if hits and blocks and all that stuff matter and if some matter more than normal. leagues are different.

If it's a points heavy league, don't bother with Toews, as this year was an outlier for him based on the injured depth of the team. If it includes blocks, hits, +/- , takeaways, forced turnovers, then he might be worth it.

This is very true but I would add, he's a leafs fan and they can't count to 4. (otherwise they would have won a playoff series this millennium) so don't trust his "Maffs."

Hey, I still have all my fingers, so I can count to 10. We just feel that once we win 3 in a series, it should just automatically be handed to us.....

It's a sim league, I failed to mention that. Should have said that rather than a keeper league, my bad. I'm still fairly new to fantasy life lol. So real NHL player performance dictates a player's ratings to be used with the SimonT hockey simulator.

Appreciate ya's comments ! You guys should look into a sim league though, they're hella fun! Legit get to be your own gm and make trades/player signings with other people.

I'm in a great pool, stats are only Goals (1), Assists(0.5) and Team goalie GAA (each GAA is -0.5). It's head to head, play another team on any NHL night that is 7 or more games. Have our own website where you have to put in your lineups of 6 F, 4D, and team goalies. If your team goalies aren't playing that night you have to temp a team that is playing, but not owned by another team. Roster of 30, cap of $60 a year, but you can trade $$ along with players. Contracts are 3 years max, but are based on previous years scoring for all players not currently in contracts. Fees for tranactions (picks ups and trades). Cap floor of $50. IT's time consuming, but an absolute blast.
