There is certainly not a Zary-sized difference between the two. In a one-for-one, I could argue either side. But would probably go with Tkachuk.

Reinhart offers a little positional versatility with ability to play center and his right shot which Calgary meeds. The problem with Reinhart for Tkachuk though is not the value, it’s the term. Tkachuk is younger with term, Reinhart is likely a UFA in another year. It only works as a sign and trade. Players like Tkachuk don’t grow on trees either and that needs to be considered
