The cost would be more than this. Way more than this.

Miller and Chytil are great, but Norris is a future Bergeron/Couturier (maybe even better) and our 1C. We're not giving him up I don't think unless its in a trade for someone elite.

I mean hes 22 and looking like thier #1 center for a long time now. Cost aside he isnt available unless you get nuts.

Thats what Im thinking, but Im curious to see how much higher it is. Was having a chat on a forum and someone was saying that all those players that were gonna make available (Buch, Chytil, Jones and a 1st) would land Norris, which Im convinced wouldnt even get the phone call finished. My thought is if the call doesnt start with atleast Miller and Chytil, the phone hangs up.

50 point C in his first season in the NHL. This kid is going to be a two-way 1C for the next decade. He's pretty much untouchable.

Gotta think of it from Ottawa’s perspective. He had a good first season. They’ll need to think that the trade makes their future better. It would have to be an absolute haul of picks/prospects.

Let's be honest here, a 75 point C would be in the top 30 scoring for Centers, so not really a "2C", but I don't see that upside in Chytil's game. You're probably right about him being a middle 6 center, which makes him less valuable Norris who is already a top 6 C and showed he could be a legitimate Bergeron-esque #1 once he develops. As someone else pointed out, unless it's in a package to get a better C back Ottawa isn't trading Norris.
